Most corporate headshot events follow a predictable script: a company books a photographer, sets up in a conference room, rotates their internal team through the line, and everyone leaves with a clean new LinkedIn photo.

In March 2025, Dave Holzman, President and Partner at Search Solution Group (SSG), reached out to me at Cannavo Studios.  As Charlotte’s #1 recruitment firm, they were looking for a fresh way to drive deep client engagement. Year 1: March 2025 (Proof of Concept)

The inaugural event brought 24 participant from client businesses through their doors over a 6-hour window. The concept proved so valuable that SSG brought us back again the following year. This time, utilizing new state-of-the-art photo delivery software, we were able to double our capacity and offer the same great service for up to 20 people per hour. The highlight of the upgrade: everyone could select their favorite photo in real time on a big screen and have it instantly texted straight to their phone.
